During Captain Picard Week II on Strange New Pod (the second podcast I participated in, right before I was brought on as a permanent host), we pitched a Kelvinverse movie remaking The Next Generation cast. I urge you to listen to the beautifully chaotic pitch, but within it a key plot was the destruction of Vulcan (and Spock Prime’s intervention) bringing about the early Unification of Romulus and Vulcan and the attempts to save Romulus (now known as Ni’Var) from its supernova. This was represented through the character of Dr. Amanda Grayson-Uhura, the half-Romulan granddaughter of Spock and Uhura and Tal Shiar Agent. As we cast the entire movie, Amanda was cast as Zendaya. I had to draw her in all of her Romulan glory.
